Dr Dhivya M Paravasthu

Consultant Radiologist

Consultant Radiologist with special interest in Breast and abdominal imaging based in Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. She completed dual fellowships post CCT in Abdominal and Breast Imaging in UHN Toronto. She is Head of School in North-West School of Radiology and co-founded the FRCR Anatomy course, which has been running successfully since 2010. She won the award for Excellence in Medical Education at Consultant level in 2018.

Dr Gaurav Sundar

Consultant Interventional Radiologist

Consultant Interventional Radiologist based in NHS Lanarkshire, Scotland. Fellowship-trained vascular interventional radiologist with a sub-specialty interest in head and neck radiology. Previously Training Program Director for Interventional Radiology at Liverpool. Awarded the Frank Doyle Medal by the Royal College of Radiologists in 2014 on the basis of performance in the Final FRCR Part A Examination. He has co-organised the online FRCR anatomy course since 2021.

Dr John Curtis

Consultant Radiologist (retired)

Recently retired Consultant Radiologist at University Hospital Aintree (1997–2022), with interests in Chest Radiology, Emergency Radiology, and Medical Education. He founded the Aintree FRCR 2B Course in 2002, was Head of School Mersey Deanery 2008–17, and a Past President of the British Society of Emergency Radiology. He is particularly interested in online teaching and radiology video production. Twice winner of the JRF Trainer of the Year award (2014 & 2021) and recipient of the Royal College of Radiologists Gold Medal in 2017.

Dr Madhusudan Paravasthu

Consultant Cardiothoracic & General Radiologist

Consultant Cardiothoracic and General Radiologist at Aintree University Hospital, University Hospitals Liverpool Group. He completed dual fellowships post CCT in Cardiac and Thoracic Imaging in Toronto and has been a consultant for nearly ten years. Trust Speciality Training Lead for more than four years. Special interests include Cardiac imaging (CT and MRI), Thoracic imaging (lung cancer, ILD), CT-guided lung biopsies, and imaging in polytrauma.
